Ranking the Top 60 Affordable Online Christian Colleges
To develop the following ranking, our editors began with a pool of over 100 Christian colleges and universities offering online degree programs. Note that we only considered schools with tuition costs of less than $20,000 a year. Using information from Payscale.com, the National Center for Educational Statistics, and each program’s website, we applied the rating and ranking methodology listed here. In cases of a tie, we ranked the more affordable school higher on the list. What follows is the result of our research: our take on the best low-cost online Christian colleges for 2019.

Founded in 1942, Faulkner University is both a top private liberal arts university and one of the best affordable online Christian colleges in the nation. The school offers 23 distinct online degree programs ranging from associate to doctorate programs. Undergraduates can opt to pursue one of three associate degree programs online: an AA in Liberal Arts, an AS in Computer and Information Sciences, and an AS in Liberal Arts. Those interested in a baccalaureate program can choose from BS offerings in Business, Forensic Psychology, Sports Psychology, and Human Resource Management as well as BA options in Biblical Studies and Humanities. degrees: the AA in Early Childhood Education and the Associate of General Studies. Bachelor’s students can choose from BA programs in Family Science, HR Management, Marketing, Sport Management, and more, as well as BS programs in Computer Science, Accounting, and Pulmonary Science. The university prides itself on being a transfer-friendly school and offers credit for prior learning. MBU offers nine fully online bachelor’s degree programs, including an RN to BSN as well as offerings in Applied Management, Healthcare Management, Criminal Justice, Ministry and Leadership, Liberal Arts, and Sport Management, for example. Graduate students can choose from among six master’s degree programs: an RN to MSN, an MA in Religion, and MEd offerings in Literacy Instruction, Special Education, and Instructional Leadership. An online Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) is also available. The school’s undergraduate and MEd programs are offered entirely online with no required campus visits.
